1. Statement

1.1 I-Resources takes a pro active approach in maintaining both integrity and customer confidence. We continually monitor products and services that become available on the market in order to provide the customer with a safe and secure environment at all times.

2. Payment

2.1 Protx
The Protx payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data.

2.2 Transaction Security
The transfer of the less sensitive transaction details from the I-Resources website to Protx is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.

2.3 Security for the Customer
Any communication between the customer and Protx is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer's browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuer.

• 2.4 Data Storage
  All data stored on Protx systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. Protx are regularly audited by Visa and MasterCard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.

3. Security

3.1 SSL
All account information is processed using a 128 bit secure socket layer encryption to prevented unauthorised access and is stored on one of our secure dedicated servers.

3.2 Back up
All of your information is stored and backed up using a 448 bit blowfish encryption and is compliant with with the Data Protection Act 1998. All information is backed up every 8 hours. Our back up facility is in a separate physical location in order to minimise data loss.

3.3 General
Our servers are protected by a hardware CISCO firewall and state of the art anti virus software to minimise the risk of data loss. All information is backed up every 4 hours.

4. Virus & Email

4.1 Virus
State of the art business anti virus software is used to prevent the spread of malicious code. This software is updated on a daily basis.

4.2 Email
All emails are scanned prior to being sent using professional anti virus software.
